"Black and red currant flavors plump up this cabernet, its peppery tannins showing a hint of raisining in the grapes. While the texture is relatively light, it's soft and juicy. Ready to pour with a steak."

"Shows a dusty, cedary side to the dried cherry and berry flavors, ending with black licorice and cigar box touches and firm, fine-grained tannins. Drink now through 2020."

King Estates Pinot Noir - Dark ruby and garnet colors. Aromas of toast, oak, black cherry, baking spice, leather, pomegranate, grapefruit. Raspberry, eucalyptus, tobacco leaf, toasted cherry flavors, with a touch of citrus. Soft tannins, a viscous mouthfeel, lingering fruit and a medium-long finish.

"Polished, subtle and juicy, with floral strawberry and guava flavors, lingering gently on the open-textured finish."
89 Points

King Estates Pinot Gris - Light straw with emerald green hue. Aromas of green apple, citrus, honeysuckle, white peach, apricot and floral notes. Flavors of pear, melon, lemon and lime, wet stone, kiwi and honey. The palate has a soft, rich entry, nice texture, good weight and a long, lively crisp finish.
"Generous at the onset, this wine has the scent of pear slices spritzed with lemon juice. Those fresh fruit flavors get a warm toasted lees accent on the palate, along with a mineral finish. A versatile gris for a meal, whether a grilled chicken or stuffed squid. "

Clois du Bois Chardonnay  Brilliant silver straw-yellow in color, our Chardonnay displays intense primary aromas of apple blossom, ripe pear, and sweet lemon drop, which are complemented by notes of toasty oak, spice, and cream. The wine’s silky texture is overlaid with bright juicy flavors of rich, ripe apple and pear—lingering into a fresh, satisfying finish.
Vineyard Notes - Fruit for this classic Chardonnay is sourced from our own estate vineyards and those of more than 100 contract growers throughout California’s North Coast appellation. Comprising six counties north of San Francisco (Napa, Sonoma, Mendocino, Lake, Marin, and Solano), the expansive North Coast is home to some of the finest vineyards in California.
Food Pairing Notes - This crisp, refreshing Chardonnay will complement the likes of fish prepared in lemon butter, pasta in cream sauce, and chicken dishes.
